for cloth diapering moms....do you spend a lot on the name brands or have you splurged on the cheap brands as well? I have ordered some Alva baby ones that were only a dollar and they feel and look just like bum genius. I also have researched using flour sack towels as inserts for a cheaper cersion. what are your thoughts?

i use flour sack towels instead if normal inserts they work great for my son. but I also like to buy wahm's (work at home mom's) they seem to have a way better fit for my son but they do cost quite a bit.

If using only covers you could make stay dry liners from fleece. but pockets are around the same price. But experiment with what works for you

No because I used pocket diapers so just stuffed sewn fst inserts into pocket

@ya0515, with the flour sack towels did you put a fleece fabric over it or just on the baby itself?

I used China cheapie diapers they work fine. I used flour sack towels also once I found out the gerber prefolds weren't shit
