If I'm getting an epidural at 38 weeks to remove my cerclage.. I wonder if I can just ask for a csection while I'm already under 🤔 Hopefully I'll be progressed by then but I don't want to have to get a 3rd epidural 2 weeks later 😐

Your getting an epidural to remove cerclage? I'm guessing every dr is different. There removing mine in the office.

I thought that's what would happen as well cause he said it was a simple removal when it was inserted then I asked yesterday at my apt and he said I'd go over to the hospital to get an epidural because if not, it's an uncomfortable procedure. When are they removing yours?

Mine is being done at office, I live way down south in tx.. They remove them in the office all the time from what I here and this is my 2nd one I'll be getting removed... The first time they left it too short so yes I had an epidural but this time that won't happen at all.

I think they will remove mine when I'm about 36 weeks, I'm 31 right now.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

And some of them tell me that I will have in an get it, or they look at me like I'm crazy lol my sister in law, who is pregnant now with her first, told me there's no way I can do it without the epidural. She's getting the laughing gas.
