It took me about 2-3 months to get out of the "tooooo damn tired and pissed tf off" stage.

I was in the same boat. She just was crying and screaming all night and I tried everything and didn't know what to do. I was getting so frustrated. I think she finally wore herself put from crying too much. @emkasting

I know how you feel. it's frustrating, especially when dad can sleep through it. Idk how they can. smh.

@chelz_renae same, at some point I think he just got so tired that he nodded off. But then after he woke up again to eat a few hours later the cycle started all over again 😣 he's never done that before! Normally he's pretty easy to put to bed when he's tired and when he wakes up again to eat he will usually fall right back asleep. I don't know what his deal was :(

I've had a few of those nights. My doctor said if hes fed, changed and there isn't anything else wrong to put him in his crib. I did it. I felt bad but he eventually went to sleep. Since he sleeps next to my bed I hear every little thing he does and it wakes me up so I no longer get restless sleep.

I can't do the cry it out method. It works for a lot of people but I just can't. @jacesterlingsmommy

this happened with me too, the first 2 1/2 weeks were fine then all of a sudden he'd get super fussy at night, literally screaming bloody murder. Idk if your baby boy is a bouncer but Zion liked it when I held him with his belly on my arm and bounced. It lasted a few days and then it settled. Now he eats 2 oz more and is on a 3 hour schedule. It was seriously so frustrating though, my fiancé wouldn't wake up either and I'm half asleep with him screaming until he can't anymore - it wasn't fun. hopefully it passes soon!

sometimes when Joshua gets fussy at night he wants to sleep on his belly or in a position he cant move to on his own

@tiarashutes that's good advice, thank you! He does like bouncing, so I'll have to try that position and see if that helps. So far that 7 hour screaming session only happened the one time, but I'm expecting it to happen again at some point. He eats SO much, he's 6.5 weeks old and eats anywhere from 4-7 ounces at a time. How old is your babe?

That's good that it only happened that time! are you breastfeeding? Zion is 6 weeks today! he eats 6 oz every 3 hours

Ah that makes me feel better, I thought my baby ate an abnormally large amount for his age lol! I'm breastfeeding for the most per but unfortunately I just don't produce enough often enough to be exclusive with it so I supplement with formula. I've started taking a lactation support supplement so I'm hoping that will help with my supply so I won't need to supplement anymore. Happy 6 weeks to Zion! Can you believe how fast time is going?!
