yeah I'm 29 weeks and just starting to feel them. Chances are they're going on inside you right now and will be for the rest of your pregnancy, but you just can't feel them until way later. Don't worry about it. :) They don't usually last too long when you do have them anyway, and theyre not unbearable. I'm a wimp and even I'm not scared.
well I ask this cause I think I'm starting to get them here and there but I'm 13w3d... I have an ultrasound appointment tomorrow so I'll talk to my doctor then... by the sounds of it this isn't normal for people and it's way early... no bleeding or discharge and the baby still moves
@laurawendel Are they very strong? I had some light menstrual cramps earlier on in my pregnancy, which I suppose could have been braxton hicks. again, they're supposed to be happening your whole pregnancy, but usually you don't really feel them.
well @gallyzephie8715 it started after sex last night and it was aweful! I got 3 big "cramps" after and said fuck it and went to sleep without looking at fireworks... I get up today and go to work and I've been getting them periodically throughout the day(not like last night) and little (very little)sharp pains near what feels like my vulva/clit area but they go away quickly.. months prior to getting pregnant I had surgery and found out I have endometriosis... I have no idea if that could be hightening things or not... I'll be asking the doctor tomorrow -.-
@laurawendel Yeah that doesn't really seem normal. Its normal for sex to hurt, and for it to cause pain afterward. But you shouldn't be getting obvious separate bursts of pain like that, and definitely not sharp pains around your clit... that's gotta be terrible. :/ Definitely talk to your doctor. Don't be afraid to go to the hospital if you're in a lot of pain. It's better to be safe than sorry. Give me updates and let me know how everything goes! Best of luck. <3
@gallyzephie8715, sex didn't hurt though, it hurt right after and it wasn't my lady parts that cramped up and hurt it was my abdomen.. and I don't have any std's at all, never have so that's why this is so weird for me and it's not unbearable pain.. last night the first cramp I had was by far the closest to period pain and it sucked.. other than that it's a dull contraction
@laurawendel I mean, of course stomach cramps are normal. I could barely move early on without getting an aching cramp in my stomach, and I still get them on my sides and here and there.
