im 37 +4 and my doctor just put me on leave

I'm 33 + 6 and my doctor wants me to go on maternity leave at 36 weeks. I am hoping that I can wait a few days extra and make it August 1st. I'll be slightly over 37 weeks

Y'all are lucky.. I can't go on maternity leave until I go into labor. I'll be 38 weeks on Friday and I still work 8-10 hours on my feet all day fulltime. My last day working I believe is July 20th and I'm due the 22nd.

@iryna883, is there a reason for leaving at 29 weeks. I'm starting to get so uncomfortable sitting at my desk, but I don't want people to judge if I leave too early. I would really like to stay as long as possible but it is getting hard already.

I'm a waitress and I took my maternity leave around 36 weeks because I could hardly walk and was contracting the whole time so I was fucking miserable and wanted to kill everyone.. Lol I ended up having to go back when he was around 10 weeks 😕
