I don't see why not! I was never allowed to, not even allowed to style my hair, until my parents got divorced and my mom left when I was 12. Kinda set me apart from the other kids but not necessarily in a good way, I got made fun of a lot.

sorry to hear that! I was allowed to play with my mom's make up and of course she bought me the little girl make up kit. I don't remember if I really wore it out but I always wore my lipstick. my bf says if we have a girl she's not allowed I just started laughing. because she can play make up just like I did! maybe not actually wearing makeup and stuff to school until she's older like 7th grade though. and even then she's getting like wet n wild lol

yes. i think that's how children develop skills and creativity by being able to play around with artsy stuff. you never know your child might be beyonces makeup artist one day lol
