HELP. am I being dramatic or would this make you upset too? My bf got his license taken away 6 months ago and I've been his taxi since. I take him everywhere he wants to go and never ever complain. He never gives me gas money, which I don't complain about because he's paying for our rent, but I asked him if he'd at least get out and pump it for me (because I'm 9 months pregnant) and he threw a fit saying he shouldn't have to pump gas into my car. He always complains when I ask him to do things for me. Like he has 0 sympathy for me carrying his child. Idk what to do.

Talk to him tell him how you feel. If he can't be understanding he probably never will be. Selfish people are hard to change.

Definitely not over reacting. I'd be upset too & if you man is in the car you should NEVER have to pump gas! its a respect thing here in the South.

Make him take a cab or bus for month and see how he likes it. He was being a jerk

I would make him pay I would stop driving him around leave him on foot a disappear for a day or 2. .Then when he acts like "Oh what's wrong with you" you hit him with all that you feeling inside....because where I'm from a man is supposed to respect an help his woman no matter what that's how I was taught

Even if you're not pregnant If he's there his ass should automatically get out and pump that gas. It's just the gentleman thing to do. Some guys these days forget what being a gentleman is. Smh

My husband usually pumps the gas for us but sometimes I do. However, you being pregnant (esp with the smell of gas) he should pump it but if he's not a gentleman he won't care. Imagine what it'll be like when the baby's here.... And he pays the rent, does he clean the house? Just because you're paying for the gas doesn't mean u have to pump it too. You guys share responsibilities for the most part but it's a matter of respect on his part. You are his lady and carrying his child. He needs to grow up.
