When both my SILs are trying to tell me that as soon as she outgrows Moses basket I should put her in her own room as it will be better for both of us erm no I don't think so 🖕🏻I want her where I can see her after how Ill her brother was when he was small this is coming from two people who think there children should act perfectly and not misbehave at all 😒 X

do what you feel best hun! I had mine in there own room within a week but that was my choice. this time I will have both babies with me for at least a month! I love how people are experts on other peoples children! xx

i keep my babies in with me in a their cot as long as possible im on number 4 and will keep her in with me probably until she's one. You do what is best for you and your baby xx

My son had pyloric stenosis and was a silent vomiter and even though chances of girls having it is low it still terrifies me that it could happen again as we nearly lost him I tried putting him in his own room at 6 months n I barely slept because I would be in and out all night checking him I just want her close to me . There always saying how they could never co sleep with there boys like I did with mine because it's sets bad habits well I'm sorry but it was either that or he chocked to death . X

And yes he does still sleep in our bed occasionally at 3 but more often than not he's moved to his own bed after he's asleep n sometimes he wants to sleep in his own bed whatever settles him and helps him sleep better is my main priority x

You'll always have people sticking their two cents in & 'best advice' @jamesnbump16 Usually people meal well but you do what you feel is best. My son went in his own room at 9weeks because he outgrew his Moses basket & we couldn't fit a cot in our room. It worked out well for us but this time baby will be staying with us longer as we have a bit more space 😊

Yeah I said I've got a travel cot so because I can't get her big cot in our room I might use that after she outgrows Moses n they were like nah I'd jus put her in her own room she doesn't need to be that close to you x

it's recommended now @jamesnbump16 that they are in the same room as you for 6 months. I won't be able to do this myself though as we have a very small.bedroom and there is no where for a cot to go xx
