It could be a yeast infection. The dr can prescribe a cream for it that really works.

Another thing is diaper cream is SO thick it's hard to wipe off try using it maybe every other change and use powder when you don't use cream. 🙂 good luck mamma @kcamps

My son gets nasty diaper rash when he drinks to much orange juice and is teething. And I usually use coconut oil but if you don't have it on hand just do the powder and the diaper rash cream. But not a lot with the diaper cream because it can make it worse when you have to wipe so rough to get it off his bottom

you are actually not supposed to completely wipe the cream off every change, that is why it is made so thick. to act as a barrier. just wipe the top layer to remove any urine or fecal matter, but leave the cream 😊

@alexislindo814, I use this ointment called bag balm, you can buy it at Walmart. My mom used it on my brothers and I when we were babies. I put it on Connor earlier after his bath, like I put a lot on. I just changed him and most of his rash is already gone! But I did use a warm wash cloth and cleaned him up, let him air dry, then I put more bag balm on him. Hopefully it's gone by the morning 😊
