We had a successful Vbac!! Baby Jacob was 10 freaking pounds and 2 oz!! We love this little man so very much!!!

(The picture was taken just minutes after he was born. I couldn't believe what I had done! I feel stronger than I have ever felt!)

(Just realized my eyebrows are super bad. I guess that's what happens when you're so incredibly uncomfortable and 9 months pregnant and then you go into labor early. Lol)

That's so funny! My first son was 8lbs 10.5 oz. they told me the SAME THING. I had a different doctor and different hospital this time and it was night and day. Before they had me on my back, stuck my feet on stir-ups and said push. No assistance, very little coaching. Pushed for 1.5 hours and they called for a C-Section. THIS TIME WAS AMAZING. I pushed for about 2 hours with great coaching and trying different things (even with an epidural) and then the doctor came in and said what I needed to hear to focus and get through the hard part. I had to have an episiotomy, and because nobody expected him to be 10 pounds I also tore. Even with ALL THAT my recovery has been magical compared to my C-Section.

😳😳😳 TEN POUNDS! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I have questions! My daughter was over 9lbs and I had to have a C because she couldn't fit through my pelvis. And, because my pelvis was so small, my doctor said it would be unlikely for me to have a VBAC. So, I guess my question is: why did you have to have a C the first time?
