I was prescribed oxycodone 10mg after my c section and was told it was still okay to breast feed

I was told I had to wait 5-6 hours before feeding again. I also only produce 1 1/2 oz between both of my breasts because I can't eat anything without being in horrible pain...

Huh well obviously go by what your doctor told you but that's strange that mine told me it was okay to breast feed while on it, and oxy is significantly stronger than hydrocodone. Sorry to hear about gallstones, I've never had them but I've heard they're awful :(

Why can't you have surgery to take it out? It can be more dangerous keeping it in

@emkasting, I mean from what I read on the website that everyone talks about looking up medication on it'll just make him sleepier than usual. But I don't wanna risk it lol. @babyrossmommy I've been trying to get the surgery. My son is now 3 weeks old and I just got in to see the surgeon tomorrow.

Shit, (sorry for my language) but gallbladder is really painful! I would go to the hospital and have them take it out today!

I wish I could but they refuse to take it out for some freaking reason. I'm going to see my surgeon tomorrow to find out when I get it out. I'm so scared though because my son is only 3 weeks... And I have no one to help me... And don't worry about the language I cuss like a sailor lol. @babyrossmommy

Well I think my mom might take some time off but I can be down for about 6 weeks.

My mom and sisters have had theirs out it was like a week or less of recovery. The amount of weight you can carry will hold you back. But it's def not as bad as a c section..

That's reassuring thank you. I'm so nervous. My mom and grandma said they'll take some pto to help me out. @babyrossmommy I'm just not good with pain lol.
