Hey ladies. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and I'm just wondering people's thoughts on the NT test?

I had it done :) Didn't plan to...but accidentally agreed to it :) Its not harmful in any way :) And the results are inconclusive :) xx

Regardless if there's high risk or low risk :) the outcome can go either way :) xx

I was low risk :) But still had a chance of my baby having downs etc :) Even if I was high risk :) I wouldn't have changed the way I feel about having my baby :) Lots of people get it done so they can be prepared for a certain outcome...or others do it so they can make the decision to get rid of the baby :) It is totally a personal choice :) xx

refused it. results are not accurate at all, i wasnt offered it in my first pregnancy so left it this time. plus to me a childs a blessing so wouldnt matter if he/she comes out with it. everyones different though x

I had it, there was no risk to the baby having it done so didn't see the problem. they've changed what they test for now than what they tested for few year back when I was pregnant with my son

I was offered it as my brother had Down Syndrome but I refused. I heard there's a very very slim chance of miscarriage but midwife said it would be an extremely rare case. Plus it's not 100% accurate. You could have a high chance and a baby that's perfectly healthy. Either way it wouldn't change anything so I didn't want to worry over it. Xx
