i do the same thing! i will not share drinks or utensils, plus our immune systems are worst when pregnant. if only he knew how terrible it was to be sick while pregnant he wouldnt question. also so rude to do so in front of the in laws wow

well you should explain to him if you get sick you can't take medication to get well so does he want his unborn child to suffer because of a feeling he has that is absolutely outlandish I love my kids with all of me And still don't share drinks with them I don't think I've ever shared drinks or food with anyone some people just think of germs in different ways some people ocd on it and some are more free you shouldn't feel bad nor should he make you feel bad for not wanting to share drink

@mykidscome1st, He just thinks it's because it's her and I'm like no I don't share drinks with anyone! I did before I was pregnant but, not now I always get sick. And he doesn't believe that I get sick and doesn't believe I can't take medicine because I got a list of things I can take but, I personally want to stay away from any drugs. I don't even take Tylenol and so when I have a headache he's like just take something instead of complaining but, I don't want to! If I absolutely have to have drugs because of complications I will but, if I can avoid them, that's what I want. He just doesn't agree. His daughter's mom took all kinds of shit she shouldn't have and did shit she shouldn't have so he thinks those things are ok. Ugh! Just so frustrated!

I understand completely and he may think it's because she has autism or something like that when in all honesty you just really don't want to get sick or really don't feel like sharing people don't understand that in pregnancy we all change sometimes for the better and you were trying to make sure that you give your child the best Fighting Chance to me that makes you an awesome mom I give you a round of applause I do not like taking medication even when I was nauseated my whole first trimester so if he cannot understand that that's a personal problem that he should keep don't change your health or the health of your baby to make anyone happy you're doing the right thing
