Are you making sure he gets all his air out through burping during feeding ? Like maybe before you start the last 2 ounces

Yeah he spits up a lot. Just this time he did a big burp and spit up a lot then started screaming and rooting. @kayla517

Hmm. Maybe he's having some acid reflux. My little one will still root like she's hungry if she needs to burp again. I guess maybe the bubble can be a confusing feeling. Sometimes she will burp several times, sometimes just one.

Also, have you mentioned this to the dr ?

burp him more frequently throughout the feeding. my oldest had the same problem

@kayla517, he does have acid reflux I've already mentioned it to the doctor they said its his formula but when we go back I'm getting it changed to something else for wic @themommaoffour I already burp him a lot yet he still does it.

what kind of formula does he get? is it the enfamil infant (yellow can)? if so try switching to Gentlease (purple can) it's still milk based just broken down as much as possible and way easier for baby to digest. all 3 of my daughters were on it

@themommaoffour, it's similac advanced. He was on gentlease and it worked but wic didn't allow it so he had to switch to similac advanced and ever since he's been vomiting a lot. We go to the doctor July 8th and I'm getting his doctor to switch it to something gentler than similac advanced

my girls pediatrician said similac is one of the worst brands of formula. your WOC office is way different than the one here. they cover all the enfamil and similar brands of formula. hopefully they find the right one for him
