They measure your fundus, or your stomach, at each appointment and listen to the heartbeat. My last ultrasound with both pregnancies was 20 weeks! As long as your not showing concerning symptoms like growing small/big and baby is still moving, you're more than likely fine!

I last went at 23 weeks and he said I don't have anymore ultrasounds

They should still do one around 30 something weeks esp to check to make sure baby is growing still
