newborns can't be spoiled. all they are used to is being held. people are just f'n idiots.

don't listen to that it's ridiculous you cant spoil a baby especially that young they need all of that love and nurturing from you I hold my baby all the time she never cries (they say oh because you don't ever let her or put her down ) well who cares my daughter is happy and that's what matters if I need to put her down and get things done I can without a problem . our babies spend a substantial amount of time in our bellies you can't expect them to come out and be totally independent and not need to be held its crazy. no girl love your child hold him until you can't give all the hugs and kisses you can your doing all you can right now and your being an amazing mom keep it up ! your baby won't be spoiled let them keep talking

There's no way to spoil a newborn! Hold him as much and as often as you want. My baby was in the NICU almost 3 weeks (although he wasn't a preemie) so I know how tough it is to not be able to hold your baby whenever you want. Once he comes home give him all the snuggles your heart desires
