Get in with her! So much Easyer and get someone to help wash her hair and to be there for when she gets out with a towel. Also the bath seats are really good I think you get can get them for a tenna out of Asda!

I used a baby bath & held him in left arm while I used my right to sponge him with the water. After a few baths I would gently pour water over the back of his head to get him used to it. I still used damp cotton wool to clean his face. This was how I was taught at college so it just stuck with me! I also had a lot of baths with him which was also lovely as the other ladies have said.

@mrsmowmow, @rachaellw, @sara-lou thank you! I thought I was crazy for being scared 😂 I'll definitely have her in a shallow bath with me! Sounds much easier and less stressful. Do I use products? We have baby bath lotion and shampoo, it's the johnsons stuff xx

I only used water for a while. Not even used lotions or talc. I think we used we used shampoo on his hair because he had so much of it and and it was covered in poo and blood. But apart from that water is perfectly fine! Enjoy it :) also get a water temp to check for correct temp x

@rachaellw, she has quite a bit of hair and it was covered in blood when she was born so I feel like it needs washing haha xx

If u want to wash it then I say go for it. I used johnsons baby shampoo. U only need around a 6p size amount probably not even that. Go with what u feel is best I say x

I felt like that. Make sure you have help though. My little fella is a day behind your girl and he's had 2 baths haha plus his cord has fell off too. My hospital helped with the my first bath xx
