how does you Mommas that have 6,7,8,9 & 10 years old kids feel about having a baby after so long?

Son will turn 6 less than a month after baby is born. I feel it will be easier than having a younger child as well as a baby only because they are school aged and are more independent than say a 3 year old. Every day will not be a walk in the park but he can help with simple task and do things properly i ask of him.

aww true I understand!! that's good at least your daughter can help you and stuff. my daughter is 6 I know I waited long but at least everything happen for a good reason @cubanese

Mine are 12 & 14 and are excited! They'll be a big help I'm sure. :)

When I was at my moms for vacation He helped my sister with her 11 month old. he would take things away from her she wasmt suppose to have and put them high up, would bring her into the living room when she would wonder off to the dog food bowls. She can walk but he would pick her up. he would throw diapers in the trash or get a new one. Big helper so that's what I'm expecting of him to be like with his little brother.

Very different lol my kids will be almost 10 years apart but I've noticed that my son will be a lot of help. I'm glad they're not back to back

@morganmommy79, I was 14 when my mom had my little sister. Definitely will help just don't ask to much of them it will put a strain on your relationship with them. I got up into the position of watching my little sister almost every weekend during high school and I couldn't do anything with friends or play sports because of it. Just some advice from someone who went through it. She's almost 11 now and has an attitude like a teenager.

@tiffrae, def! My ex and his wife makes my daughter watch their 6 year old all the time. It's my baby, not hers. I just want them to enjoy each other. :)

oh I know the feeling I was 7 when my little sister was born and as I got a little older I had to do everything for my baby sister it was so overwhelming cus at that age you want to hang out with friends and stuff but I couldn't. oh god the attitude thing starts earlier now lol @tiffrae

I understand sometimes you want your oldest to watch your youngest but not all the time it's boring for them and they just want to socialize with their peers. @morganmommy79 glad you understand; I'm sure they hate going there if that happens all the time like that.

It's deff an adjustment. My son is 6.5 and I can't believe I'm starting all over again

I also have a brother who is 7 years younger than me and let's just say it was no fun watching or playing with his little ass when he was a toddler. He was SO SO mean and I would get in trouble if I did something back to him. I definitely know how I want my boys to be raised and it's not like that

I feel good. Tired and I was doing too much after she was born. But unfortunately life doesn't end when you have a baby. And im a single mom so that's even harder.
