@morganmommy79, it did the same thing to me! I was pissed because I pretty much went through the pain of getting it for no reason since it didn't work and all the affects after just wasn't worth it!
@jessica0830, my epidural didn't work with my son either. Didn't have one with my daughter. After I had him I had stiff neck and migraines for 4 days. The pitocin def made labor worse. But that's all I know. I was induced with both my kids and on pitocin so I'm kinda worried about the pain again but hopefully I won't need it this time.
oh my goodness. i couldnt imagine. i had pitocin with my first pregnancy i agree it was excruciating so im hoping this cervadil does the job if not im hoping for a csection! lol as crazy as that sounds id rather be cut open than go thru the pain of pitocin again
I had Pitocin and like @morganmommy79 I hated it! It was sooooo much more painful than when I didn't have it with my daughter !!!!! On top of that my epidural didn't work. I was in so much pain 😩😩😩
I had 3 cervadil and 2 bags of pitocin. The cervadil got things moving considering when I went in at 43 weeks my cervix was hard as a rock and the cervadil softened me up...it just took 3 and about 5 hours
thats what im not wanting @morganmommy79 had that with my first and the contractions were excruciating! i have a possibility of having a csection as well due to low amniotic fluid. rather just do it that way then waste all this time waiting to see if this cervadil will work or not
