so last night at 11.15 i woke up to what felt like full on labour i was agony.went to the hospital,the midwife checked my obs and done a Fetal fibronectin(preterm labour test) which came back positive which meant my little baby girl could be born within 2weeks.The look on my partners face made me want to cry as i was just as crushed by the news. I had a steroid injection for bubbas lungs and currently sat on a ward as im still contracting,she checked my cervix last night and it was closed yet to be checked again but constantly feel like im going to wee myself as her head is really low.. I've never been so sad or scared in my life knowing i could have my beautiful girl but she's going to have to fight just to be here breaks my heart!😔😔😔👑🎀💗

Gosh what a shock. How far are you? Similar thing happened to my friend at 30weeks however things did settle down & baby ended up waiting till 38/39weeks. She did cut down work & have to take things a bit easier. Cross fingers for you they can slow things down for you.

It's crazy some try & come so early! My friend also had the steroids but also something to try & stop the contractions/labour. It did work so there's every chance she'll wait a bit longer for you!

Don't stress Hun things can change and the test can help indicate if it may happen but u may go on longer. Especially if they can stop the contractions and get u on total rest. Good luck x

@spanishprincess94, hope all ok. and these days they are able to do anything. man i work with his gf had baby at 25 weeks and she is fine and stable just still in hosp shes 3 months old now. she will be ok. good luck xxx
