I can only answer the last two, they use pitocin on a drip in the IV, mines inducing at 39. They can induce from 39 with no medical issues and back but not before.

I was induced with both of my kids and it went smooth and easy and I'd do it again. They put me on pitocin and I had them both before 6 hrs After being put on it. My Dr. will induce any time after 39wks but every doctor is different.
