Ah! My bfs daughters are both infested with head lice😖😩 he just noticed it today and both heads are completely loaded with them! Where they got it who knows. They could of came up to NY with it from there moms. The one has been complaining of a itchy head but the mother said it was just "itchy scalps" 🙄 so he's treated it and combed through their heads for hours tonight. I just hope I don't get it! He sleeps with them and is obviously closer to them a lot more and he saids his head is ok. But he also has short hair. I do not! And he slept with me last night. So now I'm paranoid about getting it or already having it. I peaked through my head just now and didn't see anything but still. I was told a long time ago to wear your hair up and with a lot of hairspray to prevent from catching them so that's what I'll be doing forever. Had to bag everything up, wash everything. Ughh

wash your hair with the lice shampoo, it will help a lot in preventing you from getting it.

try mayo a lot of it in there hair. cover the hair with a plastic bag and tie it so its just around there hair as to smother the lice, it will itch so bad but u only have to keep it in four a couple hours and then wash it out ....u can google this method, my mom use to do it and it really works

Yes girl. Wash EVERYTHING. If it can't be washed, bag it for 14 days or just replace it after you know for sure they no longer have it. Check your boyfriend's head and have him check yours very thoroughly. I ended up getting it once in high school when my youngest brother brought it home from daycare and I hear he still gets it from time to time because his dad doesn't clean things properly and so they hide. They can take FOREVER to get rid of. I would get new pillows, as well. and clean/vacuum any carpets, cushions, or anywhere your head lays that they could possibly hide. It seems excessive but it helps!

Also check extra thoroughly along the hairline, behind the ears, and at the nape of the neck. That's where they like to group up and thats where you'll probably find the most eggs. You can get lice shampoo but don't wash your hair anymore than normal because if you do have it, that'll just make it easier for them to crawl around. They make you feel dirty but in reality, they LOVE clean hair more than anything.

Ugh this is a nightmare! For me I take 2 showers some days because it's so hot out right now. I bagged up a bunch of their stuffed animals coats they wore today etc. they have so many stuffed animals though in their toy room idk what to do 😕 thanks everyone @mrsdaniels411@mrs.rcleveland @katarama

no problem! I hope it helps! I would bag up everything personally. also you'll wanna keep checking them and yourselves once every few days to make sure no new eggs have hatched or been lain.

I know it's a hassle. hopefully it doesn't take too long to get rid of! it's crazy that their mom wouldn't check when her daughter complained about being itchy!!

I want to bag up everything! Plus theirs carpeting in their play room. My bf has a vacuum so we are going to clean the play room hardcore tomorrow, vacuum the couch whatever else. He is doing another treatment on their heads tomorrow. And we are just going to have to clean all their linen daily until they are both cleared up. I'm hiding out in our room right now. it's the one place their isn't any lice! And I won't be in harms way with it. We are suppose to be having a birthday party for his little one tomorrow here and I don't think it's a good idea especially with their friends around, other adults. It's bad enough we are subjected to it I don't want anyone else to get it and it's not just one their heads are loaded 😩@katarama my bf is just putting himself out their to get it. I understand he's their dad but I really don't want to catch this shit. And if we can keep it to just them that would be great.
