I think it's only a problem if it's over your cervix. have they gave you any more scans,? xx

@shannon391, yes. next week. they couldn't see the bottom of the spine as the baby was sitting . so they will look at that and placenta

I'm 95% it's only a issue if it's above the cervix as when in labour it could burst, check on the NHS website it's where I went for all of my wonders throughout pregnancy @summerbelle xxx

if it's close to the cervix low it may be a c section as when your in labour placenta may go down advertising cervix so worst you'd have a c section

When I went for my 20 week scan I was told my placenta was very low laying and have a scan at 34 weeks. Was told no sex at all. I'm a higher risk of bleeds as its so low & to go straight to A&E is any bleeding does occur.
