You're not a bad mum it is completely normal and a shock to the system having a little life reliant on you and keeping you awake and busy all night x

I'm with you on this hun. And my other half has just rang his friend and went out. Really pissed off and upset. Xx

Remember you may still be experiencing baby blues. I was never hormonal when pregnant but for a while after I was so sensitive & cried over anything. It's a massive shock to the system especially the first few months when their tiny & feeding every 3 or so hours. Don't feel bad asking for help, be it a partner, family or friend. Even if it's just so you can go have a bath & a nap for an hour or 2 :)

@stacey804, my OH gets at least 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night and moans he's tired 🙁 I'm up every few hours for at least an hour with Daisy xx

Ditto! 😤 I feed, change and cuddle Zack and he sleeps through it. I've told him to man up because I'm sick of being let to do everything all day and night. It would nice to just have one break. Can't even go to the loo xx

Well then you need words with your oh. If he works & doesn't do night shifts fair enough. But he's her Dad which means he has just as much responsibility to care for her as you do. Simple.

Don't ever doubt yourself your doing an amazing job regardless how you feel! Men will never have the job we have of being mum no matter how many time they wake in nights they never have the sleepless nights like we do or exhaustion of labour/ and just being a mum just keep telling yourself this doesn't last forever I know how you feel albie wakes every hour for a feed now and the tiredness in feeling is making me feel sick but just tell yourself what an amazing job your doing because you are! Xxx

@sara-lou, he doesn't work, he gets so stressed when she's fussing and crying, he just can't handle it... He's just started counselling which will hopefully help :) @holliesinead Daisy will sleep for about 4 hours solid at night and then for another 2 or 3 so I guess I'm lucky... It's just the fact I can't ever switch off that I'm finding hard xxx
