Don't let people get to you. Some people told me not to name my daughter the name I wanted because it's a "fat girl" name? Idk why they said that. But I named her the name I liked anyways

Why would someone make fun of that?

I like it. Idk how children would make fun of it. There's really no jokes that come to mind about that

I feel your pain. I have some friends and family that don't really like the name we picked for our son, but my husband and I love it so they'll just have to get over it.

@ysalais, his name is Gunnar. We honestly tell everyone, I've just gotten over the reactions. So far for us it's about 50/50 on who likes it, but man the people who don't like it sure like to make their opinions heard!

My husband fell in love with the name as soon as he heard it, I loved how passionate he was about the name. He swears he didn't choose the name because he's in the army, but I don't know if I believe him lol.
