okay and does anyone else already have their reaction planned in the event your kid tells your they're gay? like I already have my reaction "planned". I'd like to just be nonchalant about it and be like "as long as she treats you right".

I rly don't think the sexual orientation or racial preference of my child is something to concern myself about because I don't think it should matter...

Lol I just didnt want any confusion. My thing is interracial relationships and homosexuality have been around forever. People choose not to accept and try to make others feel bad about the choice they make. I say as long as my kids try in life I'm good. I just dont want them strung out on drugs or in and out of jail. Its up to us as parents to lead and be an example.

@lashellg no I didn't take it that way! lol I agree with you there. I've had a couple older people in my family make remarks about me and my boyfriend and I just tell them I feel sorry for them that their idea of love is so shallow.

And @jdownin0511 I'm not calling you ignorant or nothing like that just giving my opinion. Just in case you feel offended by my answer.

I have 2 kids and one on the way. I dont care what they choose as long as it's good decisions and they are successful and happy. I will love my children regardless the partner or race they choose to date or marry. Love doesn't have color or gender. That's something people especially ignorant people have to understand.

I have thought about this with my son since before he was born! I wrote him a book while I was pregnant and there are several essays to him encouraging him to be who he is and I will always love him.

I don't believe in that, so hopefully I don't have to deal with that.

@jadasmommy_ ok but like why even say anything? are you really that type of person that has to just say snarky shit to feel better? it's something to think about regarding my child's future. because I'm excited to build my relationship with her. don't act like that's a dumb thing to think about. that was rude as fuck for you to comment like that. shame on you seriously. women need to be supportive and its shit like that that I have no tolerance for. you added nothing but negativity. it's a serious shame to be like that.

No I don't have a plan because I'm only 35 weeks so I rather think about my new baby, instead of what I say if she may or may not be gay. But that's just me.
