So me and my other half keep falling out. All the time. I'm being snapped at at every occasion. I know we're not well and truly minted at the moment but we're hosting a baby shower - was going to do a bbq and invite everyone which would have meant buying the bbq... Buying the food... Drink etc. But we only have a small house. To cut a long story short, people wouldn't have fit so my mum offered to pay for us to rent somewhere so found a nice cafe that has a marquee and it's working out cheaper than it would have had the bbq. This includes the buffet, nice venue and the guests etc.
But my other half still isn't happy keeps saying I'm being silly, no one has baby showers, their pointless...
Am I being selfish and deluded or what? Should I just cancel the whole thing. 😵 Just so fed up.

A lot of people have baby showers and it's a good time to get all family and friends together and have a nice day, catch up with everyone and play a few games, like @mich77 said you regret the things you didn't do so ignore your OH and enjoy your day😘😘

ive been to a load of babg showers and they was all nice. ive never been to one with partners there though. just the girls, was good for handing over presents and playing little games ect and just chatting and im the mum to be's having a socialising day as they get forgot about once pregnant 😂 but i personally dont want one and wont be having one. i arent fussed at all. prob missing out on more presents haha but i do think there a waste of money ect. could save the money and have family days out with new baby after @xkathrynlouise xx

Basically my logic is half of our families still haven't met so was thinking it's a good way of fetching all the family together. But you'd think I was going spending crazy and I'm really not. All my family are happy with the idea whereas I'm getting the impression his parents have had words hence him now being so stubborn as whatever they say goes and my say is forgotten about...😕 @tg123456789 @mich77 @briony1994
