Can I refuse the glucose test? Or I have no choice?

@septbaby2016, Matter of fact I drank 2 of the 1 hr drinks because the first time I drank the 1hr drink I got in late and they had to reschedule for the next week lol... But there should be some kind of another way for you to do the test...

you can also do jelly beans you just have to consume that 50g of sugar

well I would discuss it with your doctor or if it's an alternative. personally I think u should do it because diabetes isn't a joke 😖 especially if you pregnant ... and also u can't believe everything u read on the internet or some weirdo has written in a book ... and let's say u don't take the test ... how sure are u that u don't have gestational diabetes how are you going to find that out ? and is it alternate test u can take ? @septbaby2016
@septbaby2016, The worse is that you will feel dizzy, have a lil nausea or headache... and I failed the 1hr and had to do the 3 hr and I was fine with both tests. The nurse made me feel better on the 3 hr by saying the drink is basically like drinking 3 cans of Coke, haha.
^ she is 100% right, not doing the test would actually out you and baby at more of a risk
@septbaby2016, They wouldn't give it you if it would harm you, girl. To make you feel better girl do research before you decide. I won't lie I was the same way because I just didn't remember doing the test with my first (15 years ago). The 1hr drink is 50mg of sugar... the 3 hr is 100mg which is stronger if you fail the 1hr. It's just a sugar drink to check to see how well your body breaks down the sugar is all.

I think you have the right to say no, but it's to make sure you and baby are healthy so I don't see why you'd not want to take it. It can be harmful to your baby if you have it and don't do anything about it
