Alright .. c section mom's.
My boyfriend and I currently live in my dad's house in the upper level. I've heard after cesarean I won't be able to really walk stairs.
We have our own room and bathroom and living room upstairs but it's a lot of stairs to get to it. Our other option is to go to his mom's house after the hospital, she has no stairs so I could go outside and all freely... but basically I'm just wanting your opinions. Did you have to deal with stairs? would you choose the no stairs option? I think I will probably get really bored stuck upstairs but I will definitely have more room and privacy so it's tough.

if it was me no stairs for the 1st few days at least

NO STAIRS. just taking the first 2 steps I have to get in my house were horrible. just getting out of bed was a challange. I would try to stay downstairs until your comfortable moving around. after they took my staples out a week after my baby came it was much easier

I have three steps to my house and it hurt...my husband had to really help.

Alright thank you! @lil_bigmama @mommyof3littleones @eskawho I'll probably just spend the first couple weeks at MILS house then. cause I'm there's no way I could stay downstairs with my dad and stepmom here lol. I guess it's just hard for me to imagine how tough it'll actually be

I was walking stairs the day after I got released from the hospital with no problems at all, but I also walked a lot in the hospital after my c-section. and I'm super used to walking stairs since I walk up four flights multiple times a day at work

It's really all in how u feel I could do them but slowly but I was 25 & over did it alot but after u have ur baby I will tell u walk as much as u can hun
