I'm 12 weeks pp and my uterus still hasn't shrunk. has anyone had this problem

How do you know it hasn't shrunk

I went to Dr yesterday and I asked my Dr what is this hard under my belly button and he check me and he said it's your uterus still shrinking and I said still he said yeah it sometimes takes months

It takes a long time for your uterus to go back to normal. even at a 6 week pp check up it wouldn't be back to normal. @momi2b4

Mine is still like that after 13 months. I have a hernia

@ya0515, that's what I thought I had at first. because when I move or grab something from floor I feel it move

@momi2b4, it'll go back to normal in time.

@momi2b4, yeah I figured that out when my daughter was about 2 months. But don't take my word for it. You could be perfectly fine. Mine was really hard and just stuck out like I was still pregnant seeing that I'm under my pre pregnancy weight now.

@ya0515, well I'm a plus size girl so I can't tell if something is sticking out but I feel hard under my belly button

No girl I don't think so ugh idk maybe genetics or my stress or depression doesn't help but I honestly think everyone is different have you had cramps? Or your period yet?

@momi2b4, lol I'm plus size but not huge. so yeah its very noticeable now. my bf asked me the other day if I was pregnant and o busted out crying bc I already hate my body

@mimiz, no I haven't had no cramps.. and I have a period on June 15 but only lasted 3 days. I did tie my tubes.. @ya0515 I'm fat I have a big lose skin like if I have lot 100 pounds but I never have.. I hate my body too I just want to chop everything off ! I'm sorry your husband told u that. I would cry too
