I'm currently living with my cousin so I am in one room until I move. I got a bassinet for him to sleep him. I didn't get anything else like swing, bouncer, pack and play and stuff. Because my room isn't that big. I would say get either a pack and play or bassinet for your baby to sleep in. If the bassinet wasn't brought for me I would have got a pack and play because most have storage area, changing table, and the baby can sleep in it.

Yeah I plan on getting a pack n play @mommy_to_be.taylor but im not to sure what else I should get .. have you had your baby yet ?

I only had a bassinet, I had bouncers but I didn't set them up until I got rid of the bassinet, both my babies were able to sleep in it for a few months, then they slept in the bed with my and my husband, I hung all their clothes but also had the little plastic bin thingys in the closet for the smaller things like bibs, mittens, socks, etc. I kept it real simple and it helped a lot

@tatiananoelani, Yeah I'm most definitely gonna have to keep it real simple! lol but I'll probably invest in the pack n play rather then the bassinet since you can't use it as long and it doesn't have multiple functions.. because my baby definitely can't sleep in our bed my bf is a terrible sleeper and I'd be terrified lol

I wish I would've had a pack and play because they rock back and forth, and my babies loved that, but my husband is too but once our babies were born it changed a lot, he used to cuddle our daughter and he was so gentle with her

We got a mini crib

I wasn't even aware of ones with that feature lol But the main reason I'll be getting it is because it's being offered to me for free and I can use all the b help I can get at this point.. @mommyof2boys248 awe didn't even think of that .. if I wasn't being offered a free pack n play through this one program then that would be my next bet

Yes but he was preemie so he is in NICU.

@mommyof2boys248, hood to know! I hope the one I get has one of those little newborn sleepers and changing ports lol that would be awesome! But assuming you live or lived in a small place at one point or another how did you make it work, like I'm sure its gonna be stressful. do you have any tips?

@klove23, I live in a two bedroom duplex, my two boys share a room and me, my fiance and the baby are sharing the other one. Its a decent size we have the mini crib, and a changing table next to it. I am so use to having a nursery. I have a diaper genie, hamper, stackers for closet I have the babies blankets in and other stuff. I don't have much space for a dresser so I got the cubed shelf with 6 and filled it with the cubes and made a dresser. So I have plenty of storage.

@tatiananoelani, and I have no doubt my bf will be gentle when he's awake but sleeping on the other hand I don't trust em lol he can roll over ON ME and still be dead asleep while I try to pry him off smh VB he also has a bad habit of slinging his arms and legs around so I just wouldn't feel right putting my baby through that lmao

@mommyof2boys248, okay .. sounds like I'm just gonna have to be creative and find what works for us lol but ugh I was looking forward to having a nursery but things didn't work out that way so we have to make it work in a 1bedroom

i live in a small room with 4 other people (mom, siblings(2), me, hubby and baby) i have had to sacrifice on getting alot of things because there is no room. i cant get my son his own full sized crib.. he sleeps in a small cosleeper. i dont have a walker or high chair which i really need. it sucks cause in la its so damn expensive to afford a decent sized apt. for us cause we barely make enough you know. but what i have for him has worked out especially his cosleeper since its so compact.

@ortegacass661, besides the cosleeper what else has come in handy? And you should try one of those floor seats with the tray attachment or the ones that connect to regular chairs.. they're not to big. @mommyof2boys248 thank you girlie :)

he does have a bumbo but he is too fat in the thighs so he doesnt fit all too well lol and hes had compact sized swings. @klove23
