I have seen all kinds of mothers post getting checked for dilation hurt. A few weeks ago I got checked because I was leaking fluid and having issues. I didn't think it was any worse than a pap smear. Does it hurt the farther along u are or am I just odd ??

everyone is different it depends on how far back your cervix is or in my case tilted so for me it hurts really bad bc they have to shove deep to get to it and twist. it's weird but painful

To be honest it all depends on the person doing the checking. Fat fingers - not fun. Rough check - not fun. Fingernails - not fun.

it varies, everyone is different the people who it hurt most likely have a low tolerance for pain or they're just overreacting and being a follower because everyone else said it hurt that why I take things said on here with a grain of salt cause what might be nothing to them can feel a lot different to me

it really depends. it hurt for me because my baby's head was super low and my cervix was really high.

I done have a low tolerance for pain. it hurt me when I got checked but then again every pap smear hurts and I always bleed after.
