@shananaginsx, do what's best for you absolutely no shame if you have to do bottles only with breast milk, breast and formula, or just formula. No child/person has become world famous bc they were breastfed. You got this

I know that's why I mostly bottle feed him cause it's easier. But I'm attached to the pump and my nipples hurt so bad still everyday and keeping my supply is getting tough. I want to give him my milk but I don't think I can anymore. I feel bad for wanting to stop. 😕 thank you though for saying that. @hlanc4

Don't feel bad you won't be stressing and neither will he and you'll have a better bond for doing it!

That's why I feel like it's best. I feel like I can't enjoy him as much because I have to put him down to pump every 2 hours. I wanted to do it longer but I don't feel like I have it in me anymore. If he could eat well from me I would continue but he doesn't, he's still hungry but won't eat more. And exclusively pumping is so hard especially because he's eating so much, he's eating 5 oz every 2 hours. @hlanc4

I had a similar problem. My son latched and ate like a champ for the first 2 weeks then while I would nap my SO would bottle feed him breast milk and he became a lazy eater because of the bottle and refused to latch anymore. He fought me hard and screamed. Then my supply dropped to pretty much non existent and he was getting bad belly aches and spitting up alot. I tried formula for a few days and he hasn't had the problem since. So unfortunately I gave in and he is formula fed now. I cried about it, I felt terrible and still do but it is what it is. I tried and at least he got the colostrum.
