so my baby was in the hospital yesterday when my hubby got there after dropping our nephew off I went go the caff to get a drink and stretch my legs well I saw our nurse he asked if everything was OK I replied yes and told him just getting out of the room for a min while my hubby was here..later the doctor came in gave us the option to take my baby home stay longer or stay the night due to us living an hour from that hospital after talking with my hubby and the doc we decided to take him home I go to the nurses station told a nurse we had to go home.. she tells me OK just leave the crib rails up so the baby don't fall off I told her no the doctor said we could take our son home. she ilk let the doc know.. later our nurse came in and said that the other nurse told him we were leaving the baby I told him no the doctor said we could take him home that's what we are wanting to do. he sighed in relief he stated you don't know how many parents just leave their kids/ babies for days without calling or don't return. to me that's sad I couldn't see leaving my child for a second and I understand parents needing to go home for a bit my mom had to leave my brother when he was little and we lived 4 hrs away from the hospital but my grandma was there with him while mom was gone.. but I'm glad they are left somewhere safe. I hope all those babies left get a great new home..I know we are not perfect and I'm not trying to bash anyone.. I just think its sad the nurse said it happens multiple times a day.. rant over sorry so long
