Anyone take amoxicillin 500mg? I have a slight infected wisdom tooth that's impacted. Thankfully I have no pain or swelling so I don't think it's too terrible... But I decided to go get antibiotics after the salt water and peroxide rinses just weren't killing it fully. I've doubled checked with my doctors and they said it was safe, so I know they won't steer me wrong. But just curious if anyone has taken it during the last trimester. I HATE having to take any pill while pregnant... But the benefits outweigh the risks here.

I did very early on which is the most crucial part of pregnancy I had strep throat twice once at 6 weeks again at 10

Yes it's very safe to take. I took it all through my pregnancy due to a reacquiring tooth infection

Oh dang! I just hate my stupid wisdom teeth decided to try growing in when I got pregnant. 😣 I'm more scared to get them cut out than labor 😂

Yea totally understand that. I couldn't find a dentist to pull two out so they kept busting open and getting infected. So I finally had enough my OB gave me a note to give to the dentist and it was finally ruled as infection. Took amoxicillin the whole 9 months and had a 9 pounder

Oh wow! That's great! Yeah.. Mine defiantly need to come out. But they're still totally under my gums.. So I refuse to be awake for that. 😩 so it's gotta wait till after I have the baby.. I'm just thankful its not that bad. Because I've been dealing with it since I first got pregnant 😳 @lilanne1927

I get that. I need my bottom wisdom teeth cut out and over my dead body will they do that awake. I can barely stand having a tooth pulled while awake.
