It's probably fine as you don't swallow much at all when just using it to brush your teeth. Did they say what the advisory is for though??

Maybe call your OB just to be safe? I think the main concern is possible bacteria with a water main break but if you didn't actually drink a lot and aren't feeling sick it shouldn't bother anything. Especially if you were brushing your teeth as that would scrub away some of the bacteria. But I'd just call just to be safe! If it's a really serious bacteria they are worried about maybe you can take some kind of prophylactic antibiotic or something to head it off.

Those advisories are mostly for drinking & cooking with. You can brush your teeth with it, since you don't swallow the water, but I'd gargle with mouthwash after to be on the safe side
