They told me I had the job. I call out...and they tossed my app because apparently I'm over qualified for the position I asked for and they didn't need people for the shifts I put down (which was any available time). I applied for C-store cashier since that is what was advertised as being needed...for any shift, mainly days and graveyard. I know how to run a till, count back and forward with change, run the gas pumps, change gas pumps, stock, face items, tag, inventory, verify, etc...how am I over qualified for the position they need if those are the requirements anyway? Ugh...BS.
