what type of toys do you buy a newborn or is there anything in particular I should buy? I've got all…

We got a few rattles but until they're able to grab they can't really play with toys. Play mats with dangling toys are nice for them to look at & things like that.

I was going to get one of those :) it feels like I haven't got enough stuff for her

Cot mobile, jungle gym basically things that move and light up or play music. Ewan the dream sheep is s life saver to get them off to sleep

Newborns really don't need much. They eat, sleep, poop & repeat for a while lol The gym mat or play mats I think their called are nice to have though.

Also, they can't really see colours. So black and white books or toys will grab their attention in Those early days.

Most shops sell the Ewan plays white noise and glows I got mine from John Lewis but I've seen them in boots, you could probably pick up a good second hand one off eBay they are very popular

Good point @amy101 😊 just black and white then red & yellow. You can get those colour themed toys/play gyms etc We had mobile one for Morgan. Amazon places like that sell that kind of stuff. ELC maybe as well.

I've picked up a lots of toys second hand babies don't use them for long
