Как договориться с мужем о выборе имени для сына?
So I'm 36 weeks pregnant with our first son and my husband has stated since the beginning that he is naming the baby.... Well I have tried throwing ideas out there n he literally shoots it down without hesitation at all! Everything he wants is very odd or no personality or either just so random that it's bogus! I can't help but feel like he thinks it's a joke n is trying to name the baby something I absolutely will hate just for spite! And I'm getting really frustrated! I tried throwing a couple out there tonight and of course it's the same thing. Says no without even thinking about it. So I suggest he pick 10 names n I do the same n us come together n discuss it. Well he gets mad n just says for me to name him now!!!! Like seriously??? It's already bad enough we are TEXTING talking about this! And now he can't even take the time out to choose a few names n sit down and figure out our sons name???? I'm so over the crap man! Sorry if I'm being a bitch but if he would spend half the time that he does playing that stupid game and actually helping or being a part of this pregnancy I might would be a little more accepting with a couple of his names. But when he does nothing but go to work n come home to play his faves n wait for his dinner to be brought to him n pay the bills and that's it!!!! Then I'm sorry but he needs to atkeadt find a name I can agree on! Because I'm not letting him name my son something I absolute hate or dislike when he hasn't even been active in this pregnancy or family for months n months!!!!! Sorry for the long post but I needed to vent!!! And we all know I can't do that on FB lol!

@littlelentil, I'm seriously thinking about it. I told him before if he didn't get on board with us doing it together that I was naming him what I wanted and if I'm feeling generous I'll just name him the name I really want along with the first one he choose which is the one his wants. Baby will just have 4 names.... Because I agreed on middle name (which tonight he claims the middle name was my idea) smh
@reeney, yes first son for both of us. And I tried the letter thing n he just wants to name him n the letter isn't enough. I'm fine with him naming his son. Honestly. But I have to agree on it. And he thinks I shouldn't. Which is ridiculous to me
maybe tell him to pick a letter to start the name and you give him a few suggestions is it his first boy?
I just went online got some baby names made them a little different and sent them to him he shot down ALOOOOTT and still won't budge on jaylene for a middle name and I really liked that 😣 but anyways I told him a few other names that started with the letters he wanted and we have a first name now just no middle name
Lol men are such children, please don't name that poor baby boy something ridiculous. 😂 just like nod and agree and than when it comes to actually putting a name down, do it yourself.
@reeney, glad he likes something you liked! I can't even get him to like the idea of a Jr. And I never wanted a jr! But I'm just so ready to give up figured I would throw it out there n nope he doesn't even want that
@littlelentil, idk he claims because I named our two girls. But my first daughter was before him n he agreed on our daughters name. I made it up! Literally has all gmas name it plus his sisters name is in there! Lol sooooooo I just don't understand why he is being such a jerk about it
I don't think it's fair either! We agreed on our daughters name so why not with our son? He seriously wants to name him Jon snow after game of thrones or irie which is a Jamaican female name! Neither of us are Jamaican btw. Or these other two horrible names after soccer players! And we have been together going on 8 years now n I have never even seen or heard him watching a soccer game😩😩😡
my SO doesn't like any middle names I kind of chose the first name I was just saying names I liked now he doesn't wanna change it 😑

Thats not fair! He should come up with a name with you. You both made this baby, and you have just as much right to name this baby than he does...shoot if not more. You are carrying this baby, you did the right thing by at least letting him chose names so you can figure it out together
I don't even care for the middle name!!!! Lol but I did agree because of the reason behind it... But it wasn't my Idea for sure!
