your welcome yeah i didnt know either intill i talked with my doctor thats what ive read and was told by the doctor and a pharmacist

Breastfed babies can go days or weeks without pooping but that doesn't start until about 4-6 weeks. For the first three weeks a baby should be pooping 3-4 times a day. This is how you know they're getting enough to eat. But if your baby is having enough wet diapers it's probably okay. Might be worth asking your pediatrician about though. They might want to do a weight check to make sure he's gaining properly.

he's definitely eating well and he has a lot of wet diapers so when I call to make his check up appointment tomorrow I'll ask.
