Totally agree waist of money

I got my fetal doppler for free from a friend who was no longer using hers and mine saved me COUNTLESS trips to the doctor when I was early on 11+ weeks and worried that everything was ok since I couldn't feel my son move yet either. I would spend the $30-$40 and buy one if I needed to. I definitely think they're worth the money. It's very simple to decipher between your heartbeat and baby's. :)

It's my life saver .. Never used it with my other two and I've never not been able to find it .. My ob actually told me he's glad I got one if it made me feel better .. I have an anterior placenta and I felt both my first babies earlier on and so with this one I knew I would as well and I did like I figured however she stopped moving for a week at a time and thank God I had my Doppler or I'd have been a mess

After 2 miscarriages last summer, it was very reassuring to be able to find my baby's heartbeat before I could feel her move. Rather do that than wait until my next appointment. Since I felt her move I don't use it. But to each their own!

And they're not expensive- cheaper than a trip to the doctor. :)

I bought one and learned how to use it and find babys heart beat fast. It kept my anxiety down until I could feel him move. :) plus my OB only listens to the heart beat for about 30 seconds so I dont exactly get to enjoy it tthere

It's definitely not for everyone. I understand why some people want it for peace of mind. I personally don't think I'll buy one. My pregnancy is going by so fast that by the time I actually got the chance to buy one the baby would already be kicking.
