No you can selectively choose to use IVF even if you don't necessarily have fertility issues. Say you're a same sex couple, or just a single woman who has no desire to have a man help bring a child into the world. It does cost a pretty penny though, very expensive. Some celebrities use it to choose the specific gender they want.

Or if you want to freeze your eggs before you plan on having children and then when you're ready to have children use IVF to place your eggs back in

@ashsloan, I wow i didn't know all that. I always thought it was only for women who have fertility issues. I been thinking about saving and using IVF in a couple years.

I didn't know they can give you a specific gender that's so interesting
