Sensitive subject... My OH was sexually, physically and mentally abused as a child and he's really struggling with our daughter :/ he keeps saying he's worried about changing her and bouncing her because he doesn't want people to think he's sexually abusing her... It's complicated 😫 the way he changes her and holds her is completely normal but he just seems so paranoid... Does anyone have any advice??

there's really not much you can do apart from encourage him to do these things with her and reassure him that he is doing a great job. Make him feel good about what he is doing and that will hopefully help him to realise that he is doing nothing wrong x

I can't relate but talk to him about saying this is our daughter. Your the dad an u are its protector so no one will think any sort. An encourage playing feeding bathing changing some activity together. Don't just put it on him first. Do it together couple times till he knows he can do it without stress. I hope it helps.

Also praise him as he's doing stuff with her alone or together

agree with all the above, just keep reassuring him that he's doing a great job, his confidence will come with time, what a horrific experience for him to go through (has he considered talking to a professional? it's not for everyone, but it really helped me)
