Do you mean formula or water? Think my son was having 2/3oz every 3-4hrs as a newborn. Not sure mls lol. I offered him water in between feeds around 2weeks because he was constipated but he only took sips.

Yeh they don't need water but he was badly constipated. Hadn't poo'd in over 10days so my mum suggested water & midwife said it was ok in between feeds & it did help! But yeh generally you don't have it...

I was wondering this too! My little man loves his milk. But being in the hospital they make you feel bad for them drinking a full bottle. Xx

I was always told you can over feed your baby. If they empty a bottle then you could up the oz's... But I also know what one midwife advices another says something different lol

Exactly. They can be helpful especially for first time mothers with no baby experience but they are also very black & white & contradictory like you said 😂

you do what's best for Bubba, 3 ounces is about 90mls, my little man would feed every 2-3 hrs about the same 3 ounces, now he's 4 weeks old tomorrow and he's on almost 6 ounces ever 4-5 hours

All babies are different. My boy is 4 weeks old on Thursday and he only takes 4oz sometimes doesn't even drink all that 👎🏻 I'm breastfeeding as well as formula feeding x
