I get induced today and I wanted to know am I allowed too bring something to snack on??

They don't normally let you eat until after delivery. But you can bring snacks for after, I had krispy kreme waiting for after I gave birth lol

No you're only allowed to have ice when you're at the hospital.

You can't eat during labor. Ice chips. I ate before I got induced but I felt so nauseous from the pain I regretted it

Eat a huge meal before you go in. I didn't get to eat for about 30 hours. those ice chips are amazing when you are in labor though. itll must likely be all you want.

You can't eat until after, even after I gave birth they still wouldn't let me eat or drink anything. But that's because I hemmoraged and they had to get the bleeding to stop. @daedaee93

@mrsdoyle, I was thinking that but my doctor said not too eat a heavy meal just a light meal but I just might eat burger and fries lol

I went and ate chick fil a Thursday before going in. I wish I'd ate more.

They don't recommend a big meal, just something light bc sometimes you will get sick. but you can't eat during labor, all you can have is ice chips. @daedaee93
