Exactly. I hear all these stories about women being stereotypically controlling and hot-headed with their partners, and I just don't see why. I love my man. He drives me nuts sometimes but I respect him enough to calm down and not get angry with him, and not start an argument if there doesn't have to be one. I don't take advantage of him or take him for granted. I would have absolutely nothing without him. He is the only one bringing in any money, he's one of the 1% of men who don't leave their young girlfriend after getting pregnant, and he is my emotional support while I am dealing with depression and anxiety and ptsd. I would not get through a single day without him, so I'm careful to keep him happy.

I feel myself about to say something mean, but I stop myself and leave the room, or I'll read or watch my show. Maybe it's because I had a really bad attitude at one point and said messed up stuff, it's something I have been working on for a while now. @amaperalta03

Y'all good bcuz I can't seem to control my temper I def need some pointers. Plus all the drama going on with his family it's hard to remain cool.

My SO and I are really big on respect, I feel once you let someone cross that line and say some crazy stuff to you, the more likely they are to do it again. We are all human and we can't maintain our cool at all times, but I would never call my man out of his name and vice versa. @amaperalta03

Takes a lot of practice.. @mariah0809 I honestly cut out a lot of people in my life, people who are negative and bring frama, so I don't really encounter bs.
