I need help! I'm watching my 5 month old niece and she will not go to sleep unless I'm holding her. She is NEVER like this. Usually I can give her a bottle or her pacifier and she will lay in her bed and go straight to sleep but for some reason she wants to be held & as soon as I put her down, she starts screaming and crying. I'm also watching my almost 2 year old nephew so I can't sit here and hold her the whole time! Any tips or advice?!

try a cool wet washrag and use it to massage her gums while rocking her. the sensation together may soothe her and lul her to sleep and when her gums feel at peace and relaxed she shouldn't wake up immediately after u lay her down
