Doctors are so silly they don't call it active labour until your 4cm I think that's probably what they mean I was 1cm for about 2weeks with my girl and in slow labour for about a week but they don't call it that anymore they even tho your opening they won't say your in labour 🙄because it could still talk awhile xx

Iv never heard of that before maybe ask the next time you go for her to explain it better I no before labour starts your cervix are still spouse to go long and thin but didn't think they could tell how long they where but could be that maybe xx

Yeah it's the length it's 2cm normally it's 3 or 4 than it shortens @tresea

Yh but as there shortening I would of thought you would be opening maybe there about to Ino they will tell you there closed if your under a cm I was open just under with my daughter and I was in hospital for awhile due to really bad back ack (baby was on a nerve) and they told me then but when I got home and was checked I was told they where closed so I told her what the doctor at the hospital said and she said they didn't count it unless it was a full cm so maybe your just under xx
