I don't understand why people would try to self induce to have their babies early My son was almost 42 weeks when he was born and he was dead when he came out . they had to resuscitate him so I couldn't hold him . I couldn't hold him his first 3 days of life because he was on a cooling blanket. what I would have given to have that skin to skin contact when he was first born

the cord was wrapped around his neck and the doctor had dug her arm in me to twist him loose . this was him when I finally pushed him out

I was beyond scared . and they had to cool him down to like 33-35° F and then they reheated his body 3 days later. he was doped up on morphine and everything

I was a mess but thankfully the hospital I had him in has family rooms so I got to stay at overnight with him
