Here's another of Rocky when he was born at 34 weeks 5 days. He was hooked to an iv in his foot and the nasal oxygen in his nose plus the little monitor on his chest and there was one on his hand that was moved to his foot.. Please don't try to self induce. They need to cook until they're ready. It's not fun having your baby in the hospital for even a few days.

the most heart wrenching thing is wanting to hold your baby and being told you can't because they need to stay in the incubator. Your heart breaks every time you see their tiny little bodies in there. Let your babies cook! give them every chance they can to develop...not just to viability but neurologically

@showersoverflowers, my little man was only 4lbs 1oz but I was still afraid to touch him because he was so tiny and I felt like he was so fragile

I haven't had quite the experience as you guys but three days in the NICU due to my diabetes was scary enough especially after having to have an emergency c section at 37 weeks because of pre eclampsia. It's heart breaking not being able to see your baby for hours at a time and when you do you have to ask to hold them. All the wires and IVs are awful. Three days seemed like a lifetime to me I can't imagine what any of you went through 😥

That is very true and I'm blessed everyday looking at her healthy and without all the wires and IV. NICU is a terrible place filled with a lot of wonderful caring people and I'm grateful at how fast they got my baby home to me. It's amazing what little fighters babies are even when they need a little extra help. ❤️ @rockysmommy

@sarahjeann98, my favorite thing is seeing my babies fat rolls now. He's finally 8lbs and getting so chubby compared to when he came home at 3lbs 15oz.

@rockysmommy, our babies have the same middle name just spelled differently. He's adorable and I'm happy for you even though I don't know you it's funny how you feel like you know people after being on this app with everyone for so long.
